I understand that family law issues can be overwhelming and emotionally taxing, which is why I try to approach each case with care. My goal is to help my clients make informed decisions about the outcome of their case and regarding their choice of processes - mediation, lawyer-led negotiation, Collaborative Law, or Courtroom advocacy - so that my clients may achieve a fair and equitable resolution while minimizing conflict, stress, and costs.
I believe that it is often best to meet your goals with the least amount of Court involvement, which tends to be significantly more adversarial and expensive. At the same time, I recognize that a number of cases require different degrees of judicial intervention, and am an experienced advocate in the Court setting. I also care deeply about children and specialize in child custody matters, including high conflict custody cases.

Legal disputes over asset division in California frequently involve matters such as what asset should be treated as community property verses separate property, racing separate property claims, valuation of properties (such as real estate and businesses), apportionment of equity compensation, and allocation of retirement accounts.
Cases concerning prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements in California often revolve around issues of asset protection, division of property, and spousal support arrangements.
When you first meet with me, I will help you identify your immediate needs and we will devise a plan for addressing them, as well as a broader plan for completing your divorce. A critical component of your case and our planning will be to determine what process best suits your needs and unique circumstances.
